Will I have to sign a contract?

No, we never make our clients sign contracts.

Will there be recurring charges to my account?

Nobody likes recurring charges, so we don't do them.

Will I have to sign a Waiver of Liability?

Yes. This is required by our insurance provider and is considered a standard practice in the fitness industry.

Can I just pay as I go?

Yes. We make it simple. Schedule only when you want to train.

Are there any other forms I will need to complete?

Yes. To safely train you we will need to complete a pre-exercise form that provides some past medical history. This is common within the industry.

How long is a training typical session?

Each personal training session last a minimum of 30 minutes. This applies to virtual and on-site sessions.

What if the training session last longer than 30 minutes, will I be charged?

No. If the session runs longer than 30 minutes you do not pay any addition charges.

Are SJM Fitness' trainers certified as personal trainers?

Yes. All SJM Fitness trainers are certified through a nationally accredited training provider and are AED and CPR qualified through an approved provider.

Why is the pre-training consultation required?

We conduct the pre-training consultation to make sure we are both on the same page with your fitness goals and expectations. This also gives us the opportunity to see what equipment you have and the space you will be using for your virtual sessions.

What does the pre-training consultation cost and how long does it last?

There is no cost for the consultation and each consultation typically last between 15 and 30 minutes, depending on questions you might have

What areas do you provide on-site training?

Since we are a local company, we currently provide services to the Kingwood, Atascocita, Huffman and Porter areas.

Is the equipment sanitized?

Yes! Any equipment we bring to your location is cleaned before and after each session.
